alexscottislegend 2,554
My main recollection of Denis is his jack-knife headers and scissor kicks, and then his gladiatorial one-arm salute. Despite his flamboyance on the pitch off it he was really modest and sincere.
Rousseau 11,290
Former Aberdeen and Dunfermline Athletic manager Jimmy Calderwood has died aged 69. Calderwood was diagnosed with early onset dementia in 2017, three years after his final managerial post with Dutch side De Graafschap. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c15zzee1dkno

Gribz 1,110
Always quite liked Calderwood, thought he was a bit underrated as a manager. Did well at his clubs in the SPL.

Bluedell 5,840
Jimmy Calderwood bought a season ticket at Ibrox for the seat next to mine in 2017. He came along for one game but unfortunately it was announced that he had Alzheimer's the following week and he never came back. A horrible disease and a shame that he had it. My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Gribz 1,110
I suppose its quite apt that Aberdeen will play Dunfermline in the cup for a Calderwood tribute.
