Yorkie Bear 669
Kelly Cates, Mark Chapman and Gabby Logan will be the new Match of the Day presenters from next season, the BBC has announced. They missed a trick by not signing up Emma Dodds- the best by far.

Think they missed a trick not getting Ally McCoist involved.

Not so much the presenting part, I dont mind that in the main, but woman commentating on games irritates me big time. Also this player of the match (even got announced like that at Ibrox) its a man's game we are watching so its a MAN of the match not fecking player

They want equality but then they call actresses 'actors' even when I know damn well it's a woman! (conductor. conductress; waiter, waitress...)

She is able to explain team tactics well, unlike many.
Gribz 998 Posted Friday at 10:51 Share Posted Friday at 10:51 Ive no issue with the ladies presenting but commentating sounds wrong most of the time. If they are good enough then it doesnt matter if they are black, white, yellow, male or half half - but there is too many pushed into the meet and agenda. Soccer Saturday isnt the same, Dawson is plastic, Clinton Morrison makes Merson sound articulate and even the presenter isnt great. There has been plenty women presenters over the years who have been good, Dalglish daughter is good, Georgie Thomson was a joy to look at, Natalie Sawyer on talksport is good.

Kelly Cates. She's taking over MotD.

They will be a huge step up to Lineker. Was watching snooker last night and Hazel Irvine has been part of that for decades and does a great job.
