Thats as may be, but he's our top scorer and top scorer in the league in 2024. 

 

Igamane, whilst being good lately was posted missing last night and Danilo wasn't much better.

 

As for wage thief's, you can a few others to that list, including the manager.

I think I'm probably in the minority here but I'd keep Clement, not spend a penny in Jan and try and clear out as many of the players as possible this year. Get the wage bill to a level where we can bring in a new manager and offer them some choice in the transfer market.

 

We don't have a chance with this league, it's long gone. Better to prepare ourselves for the future. 
 

We also somehow need to get an experienced footballing person in at board level. I don't really know who that would be, honestly, but it's clear the board need significant help in making the correct choices. My heart says someone like Alex Ferguson, I doubt he would take it though and in reality my brain says that a manager may not actually be the right person for the job. There needs to be a person who understands both the running of the club and the footballing side of it at board level. Someone with current knowledge of the game and the financial aspects.

 

It's a mess that we've somehow managed to make worse and worse. The board were fucking mental giving clement that extension, but I think they knew we were in for a mess and this was their way of telling the support that there is a project going on and nothing will get in its way. The project is to achieve financial stability no matter what, presumably.

Whichever direction you look it is a long road to nowhere.

 

In 'normal' circumstances Clement would have struggled to still be in a job.

But the most important aspect of becoming competitive again is financial. As we reduce the wage bill and try and set up a functional player trading model, inconsistent results and performances made a fallow season, probable.

 

It may reach a point where Clement has to be taken out of the firing line. ST renewal time or a lot sooner if pressure keeps building and the players aren't responding.

 

The CEO needs to have this sit down with the press sooner rather than later and spell out how he sees the immediate way ahead. He also needs to spell out the financial situation and it's implications on decisions because too many of our fans think that we can keep spending money we don't have.

 

In the medium term, maybe the support will end up getting more than they bargained for when it comes to new owners. 

 

We Deserve Better was a slogan back in the day. If there isn't more consideration given to our financial situation then the next might be You Deserve all that is coming your Way.

The harsh reality is that there are only 5 or 6 of the current squad worth keeping.

We can’t get rid off the rest( mostly the high earners) because of the contracts given to them by Beale & Wilson.

Until these players are gone & replaced (hopefully with better ones) then I don’t think we’ll see much progress in the short term regardless of who the manager is

I’ve seen it all before but I’ve not seen it this bad most of the players we have are just not up to the job of being a Rangers player they don’t have the pride of pulling on the jersey in total they are not good enough,then we have a manager who if anything is worse than the players he can’t motivate anyone he’s played more or less the same dire formation he seems loathe to give young players a run he’s just written them off instead of trying to improve them so they could be sold for some profit a complete clown that’s all he is .
