Manchester United v Arsenal (f.a cup )

Big of a statement from Man U, i didnt see a 4-0 hiding coming there.

Fair play to Wenger - he actually came out and said Man U were better. But I got the feeling Wenger wasnt bothered with AC Milan coming up in midweek. Hopefully this doesnt affect there league form as they still have to back to Old Trafford.

William Gallas will not face any disciplinary action for kicking Nani in Arsenal's FA Cup defeat to Manchester United at the weekend.

Trailing 4-0 at Old Trafford, the Gunners' frustrations appeared to boil over after United winger Nani indulged in a spot of showboating.

After Gallas and Nani tussled for the ball late on, the Arsenal captain kicked the back of the Portuguese's legs before the two players squared up.

Referee Alan Wiley took no action at the time and, having reviewed the video evidence, has deemed the incident was not worthy of a red card.

Not satisfied

An FA spokesman said: "Having viewed the footage, the referee was not satisfied that it showed evidence of violent conduct and therefore no further action will be taken."

Speaking after the game, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was unhappy that Gallas was not sent off for kicking Nani.

Ferguson said: "I thought Gallas should have been sent off. The referee must have a look at that again.

"He kicked Nani from behind and the referee called both over because they sized each other up. He should have been red-carded."

Cannot believe that no action has been taken, especially after reviewing the video evidence. It was a deliberate kick, so obvious and stupid, and agree with SAF that it should have been a red card.
