It's interesting.

Three of those names Koppen - or the DoF, if we ever appoint one - should have on a long list.

I mentioned keeping track of Martin when he was at MK Dons and Swansea.

Clearly that paragraph mentioning Moyes was a typo. :D

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't like that idea of contacts - recruitment should, IMO, be in the hands of the Director of Recruitment.

It should fall to Director Of Recruitment but there is no harm in the manager recommending or being used to convince players to come.

The blame starts and ultimately ends with / at the board's door but I can't see how anyone can conclude that Clement is the manager we need to take us forward.

4 away wins in our last 15 away league games proves this. He hasn't learnt any lessons or been able to work out a strategy to win away from Ibrox.

That record is indefensible and inexcusable

If the club/business is in as bad a state as some are hinting at then the outlook isn't good .

It's bleak and I hate to say, I've been saying as much for a few seasons. The club / business is in the wrong hands.

They should be thanked for their service and all the good that they have done but their inability to steer us forward through gross mismanagement tells its own sorry story.

Most fans won't like that or agree with it, but that's the truth of the matter.

Thinking that they'll somehow turn it around is as likely as believing in Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.

think the defensive issues are pretty clear: we're down to bare bones, but even our best are not great in the air. That needs to change if we are to deal with what we saw from Hibs. Our defence has still been decent enough.

I went on about this a bit during the transfer window. We've almost exclusively recruited players who are below average or well below average for aerial ability in their position. That will eventually catch up with you in this country. And I'm all for a modern style of play. I just think there is a bit of naivety there from Clement.

We all have concerns about the club and see the need for a lot of change and improvements.

But simplistic logic on a message board won't sort things out, it isn't the real world.

The real world for Rangers at the moment is relative financial strife and you have to factor that into the equation.

Never mind your simplistic "get rid of the board". They have invested a lot of money. Are you going to buy their shares ?

So tell us in detail how you change the board and how you finance everything you propose. Without that, you are bumping your gums for bumpings sake.

I don't disagree but what options do we, as fans, then have? We desperately need a multi millionaire to take us over, but there ain't one daft enough out there.

We are basically screwed

I could compile a 10,000 word dissertation on the subject but as you say, it wouldn't make a blind but of difference.

The only people who can resolve this are those who got us into this state. Until you understand and accept this, we'll never move forward.

As for bumping my gums, that's all I've got. Just like ever other fan on a messageboard.

In saying that, it was "bumping of gums" for a few (me included)  that eventually led to fans changing their opinion about SDM. Too late as it turned out on that occasion and probably be too late this time around as well.

Why don't you tell us in detail how this board are going to turn us around and make us a force again? The floors all yours.

Bottom line is there is nothing we can do. Apart from put our money in, or not. I am approaching the latter option

Basically as a fan that's all we've got. I'm at the "or not" point.

If the Club isn't moved on, it's an inevitable slow demise/death.

I've had a ST for 19 years mate. I know that's not massive compared to some but I am getting scunnered I have to admit
