I think the defensive issues are pretty clear: we're down to bare bones, but even our best are not great in the air. That needs to change if we are to deal with what we saw from Hibs. Our defence has still been decent enough.

Offensively, we have a good group that can be excellent in transitions - as we saw in the first 25 minutes today and in Europe - but don't have the guile - or set-up - to break down a low block. A new coach could solve it, but I don't see that happening, so a couple of signings is the only solution.

So: no defensive reinforcement, but a couple of mystery ball juggling forwards?

General points ... shyte conditions taking its toll too:

Bajrami had a decent start, but fell out of it. Could have chopped earlier for Matondo or Cortes, as there was so much space to run into.

Raskin worked tirelessly, but was done after 75 mins at the latest. Might have been replaced with Barron.

Diomande does some many need things and finds nice spaces, but has a knack of overdoing it and then loses the ball. Nice to have, but today more power and precision was needed, at least in the second half. Be he seems somehow undroppable.Even with Danilo and/or Dowell on the bench.

Ridvan tried his best today, but it isn't his side and he got caught out a few times. Also liked to overrun his ball or hold to the ball too long. Could have been a moment to test 3 at the back in the 2nd half, but we are simply running out of centre-halfs.

I am not so sure. It won't happen, of course, but that is more down to the the Hibs than to the Pederasts.

Your argument is flawed when you look at the facts.

We have a very good record at Easter Road (IIRC, previous to today we had won our last 4 visits).

Over the last 5 seasons Hibs have a better record against Celtic than against us.

Let's focus on our obvious and glaring failures rather than projecting the latest failure onto Hibs (and how very dare them, imagine them trying today eh....).
