Also worth remembering that Celtic brought on Engles and Idah yesterday, who they purchased for a combined fee of £20 million in the summer. That's more than our entire starting 11 cost.

They also started Scales ahead of 6 million man Trusty, and look to be bringing back Tierney for big money wages while letting Taylor walk on a free who has been a very cheap reliable player for them.

We just need to focus on improving ourselves and forget about the current financial gap, as it may balance itself out.

Nope

Agreed.

This is where we as a support fall down. 1 result and the manager is suddenly fantastic. We've all forgotten about St Mirren and Motherwell even though they happened just last week.

Ridvan has one good game at RB and all of a sudden we no longer require a RB. We've suddenly forgotten that he's made of glass and will be back on the treatment table in a few days / weeks.

After demolishing Celtic 3-0 in the 2nd OF game of the season, we cut the gap to 11 points. 11 points. We could win the next two OF games and still not win the league.

We're still miles behind them (points wise) and visit an in-form Hibs on Sunday. Our away record points to us dropping yet more points which would in effect, render yesterday's result as pointless.

Aye, let's keep him.

Have to admit I’ve lost faith in him too. There are mitigating factors for sure, and it’s a bit of a roll of dice whatever we do. Drastic improvement away from home and consistency is needed before I'll change my opinion. Better transfer windows too, though Clement is probably not as much to blame for that.

Clement is still on borrowed time as even watching that amazing performance yesterday we all know we could easy draw or lose to hibs under this manager so until he can string a 10 - 20 plus winning run the jury will always be out

I shall reserve any real judgment of our manager until after his team run up a dozen league victories on the trot that’s the kind of run we so badly need no use turning up for the Celtic and European games if you mess up the league matches.

Mon the gers. :rfc:

I'm not sure that's true, in fact if we got a £3mlillion+ bid for him today I'm pretty sure the vast majority of the support would be happy to see him go. Same for Hagi.

It's the feedback I'm seeing on chats and forums. If we get £3M for Ridvan I'd be amazed. Who, apart from us would pay that for a player with his injury record 😀

The fickle finger of fate might be giving Kelly an extended run in the team I thought he played well what do you lads think.

Not just saying this after he played yesterday, as he didn't have much to do. But I'd happily sell Butland, take a few million, get him off the wage bill and le Kelly play. I'd give Munn the cup games.
