[AET] Celtic 3 - 3 Rangers (Bajrami 41'; Diomande 75'; Danilo 89')

It's the hope that kills you.

Never looked like winning the game after they equalised. All we had to do was hold the ball in the opening stages of 2nd half, instead we conceded 2 goals.

Thought it was the wrong starting 11 and his subs were poor and ended up with no width in extra-time whilst they had plenty attacking options.

Don't know where we go from here - some will say we're making progression but sorry, being 11 points behind and lost the 1st trophy of the season isn't progression.

No longer the most successful team in football, no sign of us getting close to Celtic over a season.

We'll limp to the end of the end of the season, finish miles behind in the league, they'll win the treble and we'll back "the rebuild".

Next season we'll be 11 points behind again and arguing whether we should sack Clement.

Rinse and repeat indeed.

It was a pretty poor performance from Celtic yet they still put us to the sword in the first half we played very well but could only score one goal we should have buried them by half time and paid the price .

Maybe much of their poor performance was down to us? Just saying...

I disagree. We are seeing signs of progress. What are the alternatives? Sacking the manager and going back to square one (again). And spare me the most successful club nonsense. That has always been an embarrassing and utterly empty title.

Sorry, but drawing with Spurs, beating Killie 6-0 means the square root of feck all in grand scheme of the domestic season.

There is NO progression - we're further behind them now than anytime after Gerrerd left (when we were in front of them).

11 points adrift by November and now lost to them AGAIN.

As I said we'll stick with him and we'll be in the same position this time next season, and the next, and the next.

Rinse and repeat indeed.
