Excellent performance and result. At long last the forwards all find their goal scoring touch. Maybe the manager can now see what’s it’s like to have 2 up front with mobility  & Hagi behind them.

Right, I'm going to be honest, but I thought, whilst the result was excellent and we scored some great goals, thought that we could still do the basics better. 

 

First half we were pedestrian and missed easy chances to open the scoring and extend our lead. Also thought whilst we played two number 9s, neither of them played as a 9 in that 1st half.

 

Second half we were much better and far more clinical, but there were still periods of the game where we still look like we don't know what we are doing. 

 

A step in the right direction, a welcome improvement but still more to come and still a lot we can do better.

Cracking result to wake up to. After Sunday's bore fest I decided not to get up to watch in. 

 

We must be a midweek team, 10 goals between last Thursday and this game. 

 

At least second place is now looking likely, 4 pts behind with a game in hand.

As well as the ref, why / how does it take so long to check offside on VAR? Both the goals checked were clearly on-side, took an eternity for VAR to confirm them.
