Yeah, it was contractual - believe we were due to make additional payments if / when he reached a certain amount of games.

It is one thing to go into transfer talks and deals with a low bid, not least if the seller is a bit cocky with his value. It is another thing to tighten the purse (given our stature) and thus keep one of the most creative people out of a side that is in dire need of creativity. Not least after Cantwell going and Lowry disappearing into obscurity. Matondo and Cortes' injuries didn't help, but why we played our actual playmaker - Bajrami - on the left wing is another of these tactical blunders which cost us dearly. As is playing Diomande in that role, who is essentially only a slightly more attack-minded version of Kamara - in so far, as he shoots at goal every now and then, instead of passing.
