I’m sure I read the other week that Cifu has been a key player for them so far this season.  Would be very Rangers 2024 to have negotiated a loan-to-buy that can be easily renegotiated

Would be very Rangers pre-Koppen to sign a striker with a strike rate of 1 in 23.5 games for Leeds. I don't see it but you never know with Rangers

He is actually a really talented player, but he's not a goalscorer.

Gut feeling says that there's a deal in place to get Shankland in the summer for free, or, given his current "form", in January for a reasonable sum. 

 

Unless we change our tactic, though, I don't think he's the answer.

If we sign Shankland (either in January or summer), it will show exactly just how little ambition the club has.

I'll be surprised if we sign Shankland as he's not an improvement on any of our 3 strikers. If he were to come, presumably of of the existing strikers would be leaving. So what's the point?
