Sign Shankland and we win the league.

Other names to throw in - Billy Gilmour, Nathan Patterson and Lewis Ferguson.

Everton are playing a 39 year old ahead of him. We should try get him on loan.

What we need are new versions of Ian Ferguson and Jelavic to put it about while still having ability.

A 39 year old winger as well, Dyche is a buffoon.

Agreed! I'd be delighted with a new version of Hemdani and Caniggia tbh, given our budget.

Rangers have raided Aberdeen to appoint Kevin Bain as their new head physio.

The Light Blues have headhunted the Dons head of medical, who was taken to Pittodrie by Jim Goodwin in 2022. He is seen as one of the top physios in the country with an impressive record of injury prevention. Bain has now joined Philippe Clement’s backroom team, after serving under Goodwin, Barry Robson, Neil Warnock, Peter Leven and Jimmy Thelin at Pittodrie.

He has previously had successful spells at St Mirren and Premiership rivals Ross County. It now means Thelin and the Dons need to find a new head of medical and sports science. The Dons’ search is already at an advanced stage. They hope to make a permanent appointment in the coming weeks, especially coming into an action-packed period of the season. The Dons drew 1-1 with Hearts on Sunday. They have picked up two points from three away games to Hearts, Hibs and St Mirren.

If we are going to be allowed to bring back right backs, I would prefer William, Billy, Sandy Jardine.

Come to think of it, with the cup final against the separated brethren just around the corner, let's bring back King Kai.

I dont think we would win a physical battle with King Kong at the moment.

We need a player or two who can get more physical and pull shirts - not just with the opposition but with his own team mates to lift them - we cant constantly wait for a goal to start playing.

So without derailing the thread - where can you find such players - thats up to the scouting department, but they are certainly out there - whether they look in the right leagues or not Ive no idea.
