The Rangers Winter 2025 Transfer Rumours and Deals - Thread

Recommended Posts

Word is that Ridvan is in Turkey and in talks with Besiktas, who want to pay us 2.5 m, while we are looking for 4.1 m.

Reliability level: vague.

Nicola Katic has joined Plymouth Argyle on loan till the end of season. Done

Archie Stevens is off to the Pars on loan.

Rumour from North Africa:

Mouad Dahak - attacker/left-winger, 19, from Union Touraga, Morocco

Reliability level: 👻

If we had a proper Under 21 league in Scotland like they do in the EPL then maybe, just maybe, we could stop losing young players to academies down south. And we would benefit as the likes of Curtis and Rice would be playing on the field instead of sitting on the bench.

Matondo's deal includes (according to Germany's equivalent of the Daily Mail) a option to buy for Euro 1.2m, which would still be too dear for them, unless they get promotion.

I guess the hope is he can stay fit and impress enough that even if they don't get promotion another side will see him and take him on. He's one of those players that eventually he'll come good for someone. It's not going to be us though.
