Just been reading that the Newcastle manager will get a three million pound rise in wages if they qualify for the champions league

Some cracking games this weekend at the play off end. 

 

Blackburn v Middlesboro tonight. 11th v 7th. Blackburn 5 points off the play off spots and have lost 5 of the last 6. Boro are goal difference outside the play offs. 

Coventry v Burnley. Its 5th v 3rd. 

West Brom v Sunderland. 6th v 4th. 

Bristol City v Watford. 8th v 9th. City are goal difference outside the play off spot with Watford a place and 4 points below their opponents.

Burnley edge in front, Sunderland hold on but unfortunately Blackburn and the Baggies look out of it. Burnley must be regretting all the draws.

Another season in the Championship awaits the baggies. Just not run well enough and don't have the squad required to sustain a real promotion push.

Results went in Leeds favour tonight. Still five games to go though so many many twists and turns to come. Two blatant offsides given wrongly against Leeds to deny them goals and breathing space. Strange that there is no VAR in the English Championship

Hopefully Sheff Utd have blown in with 2 defeats in the last week. 

 

Leeds at home to Preston and Sheff Utd away to Plymouth - you'd fancy both to win.

Full card of fixtures today. 

 

Game of the day is Coventry v West Brom, 6th v 7th and separated by 3 points and WBA have a better goal difference. 

Bristol City v Sunderland is 5th v 4th although Sunderland should be preparing for the play offs as they have finished 4th already. 

Derby v Luton at the bottom are separated by 3 points.
