3 points and up the road. Cannae wait for Perth on a cold December afternoon.

Igamane, Diomande, Raskin and Barron outstanding.

... as was Jefte, and even Ridvan late on. We need to get Danilo and Igamane on, fit and raring to go. Dessers scores his goals, but he's not exactly a prime centre-forward to drag you out of every game. And like every striker, he has his "downtime". Still, nothing I would sleep about. We have the players, we just need to get them played correctly for every game.

Jefte played well, Ridvan done well when he came on.

Looking at the stats, they had more shots than us, more possession - is that good or bad @Rousseau - thats a serious question.

Whilst they gifted us 3 goals and the 4th was a deflection, we still missed  many very good chances.

Great win, great performance but we've had a few false dawns this season.

Players need to back this up with a similar performance and result on Sunday.

Must be favourites to beat Spurs, Man U now 😀

It's all about the game state. We let them have the ball in the second half to counter attack so their possession is no surprise. It's neither good nor bad; depends what you do with it.

The shots on target was similar (7 - 8 in our favour). Again it's what you do with it, which is where xG comes in: 1.26 - 2.56, showing we created the better chances, and, of course, we took them.

But we didn't score with the chances we created.

Our opening goal was a double deflection.

Our second goal was a brilliant finish, but the defender should have cleared the ball before Diomande got a chance to score.

Our third goal was a short back pass which Igamane did well to latch onto and finish (credit also for Diomande for triggering the press).

Our forth goal, Nice gifted us the ball, and again credit for Igamane for latching onto the ball, showing a bit of skill to beat defender and score.

I thought we missed the chances we created and scored the goals we were gifted. Nothing wrong with that as such, just an observation which probably isn't reflected in the stats.

Tonight is a prime reason why the board are very reluctant to sack PC. They want a manager who can get results in Europe because it brings in much more revenue than winning the domestic competitions.
