Igamane should have hit it first time but I also feel Bajrami should have committed the last defender quicker and made a better pass, whether that was to Cerny or Igamane.

Possibly with a better pass although the defender was quick to close him down.

Cerny was always the better option with Igamane being used as decoy.

Why take off IGmane and replace him with the dud that is Dessers likewise with  Sterling to be replaced with another dud in Tavernier if it's not for an injury then i think it shows the manager doesn't know a winning team when he see's it .

Dessers should have come on for Diomande, who was running on a yellow. They were wide open at the back and a couple of strikers might have wrought even more havoc. I wonder what Cortes and/or Matondo might have done.

Anyway, I don't get overly excited, since these teams in Europe play their game, which is fundamentally different to what we face in Scotland. None of the managers of the last 5 years have recognized this, and I doubt that Clement can/will do it either. So the Perth Saints will do the same as the Tangerines, sit deep and try to counter. Thus, our three attackers will face 6 or 7 defenders, rather than the headless band that we saw last night. Well, maybe they will play a bit more cocky, as they are at home.

As far as Dessers coming on, and Cerny comin off goes Big Phil is being canny with his squad of players. It is no surprise that we have perhaps a third of the amount of injured players under Big Phil that we did when GVB was fighting, albeit with some success in europe. I am happy to let the manager manage the squad so we never have to get to a point where a young lad (King) and an on loan midfielder (Sands) are our central defensive paring in a european tie.

Still with Phil :rfc:

I don't get this quick to judge stuff. If a guy has a good game(s) he's had a good game(s). If not he's not.

It works the other way too, for the past 9 years Tav has been one of, if not our best player. He's now miles off it. Should we have waited before judging? :D
