pete 2,499
Broadfoot- Thought he played well but no Hutton going forward.Centre-back looks like a better option. Cuellar- give him a new contract now he could be the mainstay of our defence for years. Davis- thought he played well but we obviously can't play Davis, fergie, Hemdani and Thomson, so i don't know where he will fit in.
eightball 0
Agree with the above. Broadfoot did well, although when he did get forward his corsses weren't great. Cuellar was awesome again tonight. One or two lapses towards the end, but recovered well. Davis was quite good on his club & european debut. A few good passes although i thought he looked a little jaded towards the end - lacking match fitness. McGregor didn't have much to do tonight, so that says a lot for the defence.
Gazza_8 233
Broadfoot was solid. He knows how to cross a ball. Cuellar was his usual standout self. Davis I'm 50/50 with. Did the hard thing far to often when the easier thing was on. Novo needs to lock himself in a room with McCoist to learn a thing or 5 about finishing. He got into some good positions though. McGregor nearly fucked it right up for us when he tried to palm away the cross ball. He made a good save after it to stop the abuse he'd have gotten if they scored. That's it.

He maybe our all time top goal scorer, but he missed 3 times as many... he was at times painful to watch. If he scored 33% of the ones he missed etc etc etc...
Gazza_8 233
But Ally is our all time top scorer. Novo could learn a lot off him.

Gribz 847
But Ally is our all time top scorer. Novo could learn a lot off him. If they are not practising that in general then questions should be asked what on earth they do in training. Surely Shooting has to be part of the training schedule for strikers.
johnnyk 158
Or maybe hit a poor fan in the Broomloan rear. to give him some credit he hit the target on most/all of his shots which you want from any striker IMO.....
