100% but in previous games, players like Tav and Dessers have been introduced and we've improved and gone on to win games.

Correct as is the rest of your summary. Hagi can take a shot at goal and is generally more forward going than Diomande. Hagi, Barron and one of the other two might be the best pick. Could do with a proper destroyer. Actually two. One in midfield and one in defence.

Quite the opposite - however Dessers has come on at half-time in games and improved us and scored goals to win games.

 

There is a fundamental issue and it's either the players aren't good enough or not being coached correctly.

I'd add a destroyer at no9 as well. Someone like Morelos, Hateley, Darchville (sp).

Both have the same number of goals (1) and assists (1) coming off the bench. Dessers did it in only one game. 

 

That's an opinion, fair enough. 

 

I, personally, think Danilo is good enough, if he can keep fit. I have no idea if he can, though. The evidence is against it.

I think he's played out of position. He's not a #10, he's just filling in. 

 

He's more of a box-to-box player like Barron. 

 

Which doesn't actually contradict your argument when we picked up Barron for the price of a packet of space invaders.

At least Dessers is fit to play and scores but not enough, Diamonde shows great technique in flashes, but those flashes are becoming less frequent (but he is playing out of position).

Regardless of the fees paid for this squad they were never going to challenge for the title this year. Maybe a cup, a decent run in europe and a step in the right direction was a more realistic ask. There was just too much damage done by previous managers/board memebers to repair in one transfer window. Tbh honest I would imagine we will have more than one other dissapointment this season.
