I thought Bisgrove was fine as CEO, was he not?

He became the scapegoat amongst some of the fans for the Copland debacle.  Given the silence from within Ibrox about that I doubt this was true.

Bisgrove was fine in both roles he had at the club. The OF friendly was controversial but his job was to get is income, the people who agreed to that game were at fault.

If you look at the trajectory of our retail department/profit since he joined, it's difficult to say he wasn't a success.

Yeah, a few titbits leaked to press trying to shift blame to him.

It was interesting to hear Gilligan (IIRC) admitting that even if the steel had been on-site the day we started the project, it still wouldn't have been completed for the start of the season.

He was a great success at the commercial department but sadly not as CEO.

The steel was always touch and go apparently, they were told that it had to come from South Korea earlier than they planned, but project timelines and fund release always dictate these things. Then the Houthis kicked off and many shipping companies opted to go via the Cape, which adds weeks.

Yeah but Gilligan admitted that the project wouldn't have been completed on time even if the steel was here when the works started.
