Connor Barron was indeed a regular starter for Aberdeen last season so I don’t know what PC is talking about ,

Barron started 24 of 38 league matches last season.

Clement will presumably know a lot more about Barron's fitness.  I don't think playing the young lad every minute of every match is the best option.

I agree Gonzo he is still young and he has already exceeded my expectations on how wonderful of an asset he is for us in that midfield position, the thing that I don’t get is why doesn’t he tell us he isn’t match fitness at the start in a press conference or something so we don’t boo him when he takes young Barron off when clearly he was having a good game. Little details like that especially late in the game when it’s a nail biting match can make the crowd at ease with the information at hand surely. Us The fans are the heartbeat of Rangers football club , I wouldn’t  risk stopping it.

Clement is the manager, it's his call. If he said before the game that he was concerned with Barron's game load, then he'd get asked by fans why he was playing him. Booing a manager because he makes a tactical change is braindead.

Both Barron and Raskin need to add goals to their game

We have a midfield with a lot of energy but their goals/assists stats are almost non-existent.  This is reflected in our goals scored column.

This needs fixed or we're going to witness many more dull and dreary, low scoring matches.

Very few players in Scotland play Wednesday/Saturday regularly before coming to us.

Look at the recent Aberdeen performance where they gave 100% v us at the sheep dome and had nothing left for the cup semi on the Saturday. They capitulated to a team they managed to draw with a few weeks earlier.

I think the goals for the rest of the team come when we get a #9 that can hold up play and lay off to other players. Shankland managed it a few more times than Dessers last night. The ball he took down and played through for Vargas to git the post early int he second half was class.

I've not seen Dessers do that since Matondo v PSV.

An awful match at Ibrox last night which resembled two bald men fighting over a comb. We did start with some purpose which won us the game but were too passive thereafter, though Jefte, Balogun and Souttar all defended pretty well for the most part. We really are woeful in possession.

For all the good stuff Raskin and Barron do covering ground and winning back the ball, we lack any sort of quality when we do have it. Diomande constantly hides whilst the front three regularly choose the wrong option and/lose it too easily. Still lots of work to be done.

In that sense, we're woefully short in terms of depth. We simply don't have enough creative options and minimal competition for places. That's why we're so inconsistent and we simply must get Danilo, Hagi, Igamane, Ridvan and Matondo contributing. No point in the odd 10mins.

I still can't believe we saw Dowell last night, but Hagi stayed on the bench

The match fit argument doens't even hold, as Hagi has been playing regular minutes for the youths, Dowell has just been warming a bench

Criminal, the likes of Finlay Curtis should be knocking on the door, banging them in for the B team. If you cant get a look in while doing well at the level you are at, what is the point?
