[FT] Aberdeen 2 - 1 Rangers (Bajrami 63)

The lack of ambition or notion from the fanbase and the acceptance that we can't compete in this backwater is baffling.

We had turnover of nearly £90M but have a board who've continually spent and recruited unwisely.

Get the correct people running the club, get a manager who can motivate players, get a team that's capable of winning the majority of 30/34 games and we'll challenge every year.

The team sitting in 2nd, who deservedly beat us and drew with Celtic at Parkhead cost less to assemble than we paid for Diomande.

The managers in my old eyes hasn’t really changed his style of play if you can call it that since day one I sometimes wonder if the players know what they’re supposed to do in his setup surely his back room lads tell him this isn’t working should we try something else

It baffles me why our recent managers always seem to stick to the Plan A scenario, no matter what. Surely being a good manager is recognising when something is not working and changing it.

Is this a pride thing and they are unable to see the wood for the trees? Or are we a basket case and they are looking to self sabotage in order to get sacked?

If 4-2-3-1 isn't working,  then try 442, 532 or 5212.

When teams have worked out how to get under our skin, then we need to change the record.

I think its a modern day hipster manager 'I have a philosophy' thing.

When Pedro was our manager, he managed us for a mere 20 league games but managed to secure more points in these 20 games than Clement has in his last 20.

That's with a squad that had Declan Joh, Jordan Rossiter, Josh Windass, etc.

It's weird.  Any normal person would realise what they're doing isn't working and either try to change it or apply for a job somewhere else.

It's happening all over the footballing world and is making the sport more boring to watch.
