If there were signs of improvement, I'd agree but there is nothing, absolutely nothing.

I think they have to sack him. Whatever it is he is trying to do isn't working and hasn't been working since March.

We are now at Warburton levels and we'll sink lower unless something happens / is changed.

On the pitch I agree with you - other than my feint hope that getting him some players in January will transform us - and my favoured xG backs up how poor we are at creating chances.

My reasoning is more off the pitch: he's aligned with the project, we're going through a rebuild, it would cost a fortune to get rid of him and the season is already a lost cause (I had it written off before Hearts) so there's nothing much to gain.

Who knows what the new CEO will want, though.

It's OK writing the season off, but we're struggling to remain 3rd in the SPL.

I just don't see how it improves under Clement - I can't think of 1 player who is better under Clement than they were previously (or when he came in).

No matter wage cuts, rebuilds, projects we should be romping away with 2nd place and at least keeping close to Celtic.

11 points behind after 12 games is reminiscent of the mid-80s when we were finishing 3rd and 4th (as the lack of style).

I still think we'll be comfortably second at season's end. Aberdeen's xG is not sustainable, as we're starting to see.

I mean, Dessers is better... :ninja:

We've scored just 17 goals in 12 games (6 of those in one game) and relying in Dessers and Cerny to score the vast majority of our goals.

Dessers is on course to score 20 goals for the 2nd consecutive sesson, yet our biggest issue is scoring goals.

Dessers isn't good enough, but if you take his 10 goals away this season and we'd be in a far worse position.

That's how bad we are and no sign of improving.

Pay off the manager

Get a better manager in

Get better quality executive management in

Get better quality players in

Get rid of the dead wood

Do it now, beat Celtic now challenge for the title now

Then do it all again in a year

Alternatively we can do nothing and sink into oblivion.

Mark Warburton had a better record in his last games than Clement has this season.

We've won 1 title in 14 years.

We've accepted being 2nd best - welcome to Rangers Football Club 2024.

There appears to be new executive management incoming.

They will have a remit that won't be about, "sinking into oblivion".

Lets see what they do.

We'll need to show some patience or 1 title in 14 years will start to look like the good old days.

I think Souttar has established himself since Clement arrived. That’s one positive.

The Dessers situation intrigues by me. We supposedly accepted three bids for him in the summer but he didn’t want to leave. Who were we replacing him with ?
