I don't want them gone / hounded out. I want them to realise they need to get people in place who can run a football club.

Exactly this - when are we going to realise its that simple? That's the easiest alternative.

The board got us into this mess - no one else. They continue to stumble from one crisis to the next, making incorrect decisions (good intentions or not) at every turn.

Employ and hand over running of the club to people who are experienced in running football clubs.

They need hounded until these people are in place and operating the.club.

How much longer are we expected to wait?

I'm waiting on the alternative you are going to offer

Employ people with the relevant experience and skills to run a football club properly.

I'll ask again, you do realise those you want to be "left alone" are the same people who got us into this mess? Why should they be trusted to get us out of it?

You should offer your services as a consultant, as it's such an easy, simple process, in your opinion.

you've misquoted me again something you appear to excel at. I said it was the easiest alternative.

Do you believe finding people with the experience and skill set of running a football club is difficult?

Maybe we should ask our neighbours how they've managed it.

People think we were well run in the late 80s early 90s but we were lashing out money back then we couldn’t really afford Souness must have laid out plenty and Smith must have paid plenty in his first term I doubt if we’ve ever really recovered since those days when we bought some very good but expensive players.

Which is kinda my point, I'm not sure we've ever been well run in my time (mid 80's - present)

Sir Duped of Murray was the main architect of our demise.

He encouraged a habit of the quick fix to any problem. But the financing of that habit eventually broke us.

The support got used to it and still want everything now, even when they have been told of the dire financial situation.

SDM can be blamed for a lot of things, but he can't be blamed for the current boards continued gross mismanagement.

Once we accept that the current board continues to spend more than we earn we'll see where the problem lies.

As well as the money they and King have loaned us, they've squandered CL money, EL money, £50M in transfer fees (Patterson, Bassey, Aribo, Sakala and Kamara), year on year recored ST sales / income, over inflated Euopean tickets and substantial merchandise / retail growth.

As well as financial mismanagement, we have ;

NEH - overbudget, under utilised.

Copland Upgrade - not completed on time, had to rent Hampden and a public ridiculing.

Vacant Roles - still unable (or unwilling) to fill 4 critically important roles within the club.

Recruitment - aligned to the above, continued recruitment of the wrong people.

Now, if you believe the board don't need "hounded" regarding all of the above and it's somehow SDM and the fans fault, then there is little hope for us.

As it stands, as long as the bowling club committee are in charge (i.e making the day to day decisions), we are heading for oblivion.

In the current climate (at Rangers and in Scottish football), yes.

I have no idea what the board are trying to do behind the scenes but they must be attempting to rectify the lack of staff in important roles.

Really, wow.

As for the board, they told us what they were doing. They offered the job to the bloke from St Mirren, he (thankfully) turned us down (hopefully you'll be able to accept this since you denied it for long enough).

So once he rejected us, for some reason, we had to start the entire hiring process again. To do that we were looking at hiring a specialised recruitment company.

That's obviously taking ages to happen as since Gilligan told us all of the above.

Maybe the next time he talks to his paying customers, he might give us a long awaited update.

Now that was for Bisgrove's replacement, we've not be told about the other 3.

Maybe you right though, they'll on it and there's nothing to worry about.

Imagine taking time to appoint suitable candidates and not updating customers (how they view us) at every turn, even if that might negatively impact the recruitment process (I doubt any candidates would want their names in the public domain, especially with some of the whining brats in our support).

So why did Gilligan update us previously?

How would "progress is going well in our pursuit to fill the 4 critical roles within the club. We are interviewing suitable candidates and hope to have an announcement soon.", harm the recruitment process?

As for taking time, how long have these roles been open and what would be a suitable time frame for filling them?

You do know that once these roles have been filled it takes pressure of the board? You'd think they would have this as number one priority, which is what we were told it would be once we were back at Ibrox. When was that again? Last week?
