BlackSocksRedTops 3,728 Posted Tuesday at 18:29 Share Posted Tuesday at 18:29 (edited) The player trading model will only work (consistently) with a successful team winning trophies and major games on a consistent basis. No one is interested in players from teams that finish second. Are the costs related to new EH and the development of the Copeland Road development factored into this? RANGERRAB 3,613 Posted Tuesday at 18:38 Share Posted Tuesday at 18:38 Staff costs £61m ?? Even if we had 8 or so players on £30k/ 35k per week that doesn’t even come to £20m. Where is this money going?

Another Bassey or Patterson would make a big difference. We are off to a flyer..... Post balance sheet events The following events have occurred subsequent to the year end: Acquisition and disposal of player registrations The Group contracted for the purchase of ten player registrations on permanent or loan terms. The amount payable in respect of the above amounts to £13.4 million, after taking account of direct costs. The Group also disposed of five player registrations on a permanent basis and four registrations on loan. The amount receivable in respect of above totalled £0.81 million. Certainly a relief but we will still be paying up the settlements until 2029, including interest. Seems that we paid 850,000 this year and nearly half of that was interest. Which is more than the 810,000 we received from player sales/loans this summer. Long road ahead....
Gonzo79 15,158 Posted Tuesday at 20:13 Share Posted Tuesday at 20:13 In terms of playing and coaching staff, the two big mistakes were not taking advantage of the squad after 55 and appointing Beale. Both will continue to cost us money for a while yet. One can only hope lessons have been learned.

I wouldn't swap the memories from that season for anything.

Tav, Goldson, Kent, Morelos, Barisic etc

It was great but I think I would swap it for winning the league every year since 55.

Not for me. I've seen us win the league loads of times, but these nights at Ibrox and to reach a European final are unforgettable. They'll live with me forever.
