CammyF 7,921
Sad to hear of the untimely passing of Lex Shields the other day. Lex was a great wee player for Bo'ness United and starred in their last Junior Cup victory against Ballieston at Ibrox in 1984. Lex was granted a testimonial by Bo'ness and Rangers supplied the opposition and brought a decent team to Newtown Park including the late, great Davie Cooper. Rest easy Lex.

I could have sworn that WAS Davie Cooper.

Yeah two very Copper-esque goals That Baillieston team included Crawford Baptie and a certain Andy Walker.
Bluedell 5,604
I think I saw him playing for Bo'ness in the 1979 Scottish Cup semi at Brockville, when they narrowly defeated the mighty Pollok. A good player from what I can remember.

Bo'ness played a few cracking and very well attended semi-finals at Brockville late 70s and early 90s.
