Ianis Hagi returns to Rangers first-team after contract stand-off

Ianis Hagi has returned to the Rangers first-team squad - bringing an end to the stand-off between club and player.

Hagi, who spent last season on loan at La Liga outfit Deportivo Alaves, has been playing and training with the B team this season after returning from his time with the Romania squad at Euro 2024.

Philippe Clement stated publicly that the 26-year-old was not viewed as a long-term solution at No.10, with a contract clause complicating Hagi’s reintegration when no transfer away from Ibrox materialised over the summer window.

If true, it is good for all involved.

We don't need to pay extra cash, we get an extra attacking body, and Hagi doesn't waste his career.

Mmmnn I don't know
