I was at the Etihad on Wednesday and the amount of people around me who weren't speaking English was mental (and no, I wasn't in the Inter section).

I feel sorry for genuine City fans - it ain't like it used to be.

I think more and more people in England will start supporting smaller, local clubs.

lol i was going to reply... you had wandered into the away end ;)

A few years back i decided to adopt my local team Dartford who were in the National league, after two relegations i'm expecting a letter to ask me not to visit anymore!!!

I've been to watch a couple of my local clubs, Spartans and Edinburgh United, as well as Hawick Royal Albert, when they're in this neck of the woods.  Some of the more rough and tumble football is quite refreshing but the whole Pep style has even infiltrated the sport at this level.

Why take a man on or try a long range pass, when you can pass sideways or backwards to the bloke next to you?

You do get more of a laugh though, as you hear and see some weird and crazy things with much lower crowds.
