My vote goes to Jefte just ahead of Barron and Lawrence.

Good to have various options to choose from for a change. 

 

I thought Souttar, Jefte and Lawrence all had good games and Igamane was excellent when he came on but Connor Barron for me was again impressive in midfield. He does have the tendency to fall out of games but I think that's a criticism of the manager/system more than him at times.

I only saw the highlights but from what little I saw, going by reports I've read and the fact we got a clean sheet, going for Souttar.

Jefte for me. Makes a difference having a reliable left back. Was very decent going forward and pretty solid defensively. Igamane looked good too. I would start him against Dundee

I voted Barron. Shout out though for Jefte. A 500k 20 year old Brazilian, been here 5 minutes who looks like he has been playing for us for years.

 

How refreshing that a left back can play 3 games in a row and not get injured for 2 months.

I've got whiplash from the opinions on Jefte. 

 

He was labelled 'not good enough' after 5 minutes and now he's a 'reliable left back' that 'looks like has been playing for us for years'.

 

It's pleasing, but good god our opinions are reactive.

We were at our best when we were finding Barron regularly.

 

He gets my vote.

 

Souttar second for me, when he plays well he looks like a really good defender. We need to coax these performances out of him consistently.

He’s 22. He’s got the energy of youth. Wait ‘til he builds up stamina.
