Widely known he was offered the role and widely known he's still a St Mirren employee.

Nevermind, it's nearly October, maybe get someone in before the year ends............

He’s not a st mirren employee. He’s a kibble employee.

Folks this is a side track from the topic but didn't want to start a new one just for this.................

Does anyone know why the smartcards are not getting activated for the Europa league games? I understand why for Dundee but presumed the European and future league ones would be back to smartcard now that we are heading back to Ibrox?

No source then.  Thought so.

Not spoken to him in a while, I'll ask him when I next bump into him if only to satisfy your curiosity.

Now, how much income has NEH generated?

Read somewhere that it's going to be QR codes going forward. No source though.

Didn't it turn a profit in its first year/6 months?

If we use it properly it'll be worth it in the long term imo.

I suspect few would welcome the return of DK following the never ending SD court cases

Not allowed to link the paper who can't be named, but The Record reporting that the board have vetoed any return for King.

Pity, stuck with the incompetent incumbents for the foreseeable.

Pennies in the grand scheme of £12M cost.

But we (the fans) don't use it, and as a concert venue it's an utterly joke. A great venue but with virtually no bands book to play in it.

Glasgow is a city where you can go see live music most nights all year round yet there is virtually nothing booked for NEH.

I went to see a ACDC tribute band at NEH and thought it was a great venue. However the gig wasn't full / sold out.

Aye, they should push for up and coming bands to play there rather than tribute acts.

A legitimate music venue to build a name for itself rather than a glorified Working Mens Club.
