The current board are looking to make the club a viable business after multiple previous boards have went with the more popular spending more than they made, whilst kicking the can further down the road. The current board, like multiple prior boards, have made a lot of poor decisions and lack real leadership qualities BUT under Bennett, are at least trying to make the club viable. Bennett is leading a cost cutting exercise but in reality it's to fix the board's previous mistakes (a board he was part off). The fans have been patient, the fans backed the club through the divisions (with the exception of the spiv era), the fans have been patient as we reestablished ourselves I'm the top division. There is loyalty and then there's blind loyalty - the fans have been hugely patient and loyal but that will only last so long and os already beginning to happen - see Hampden for St Johnstone game.
