Why are Celtic considering stadium expansion and why have they spent so much in the transfer window very unlike them could they be going try and improve their champions league performances which have been poor with some kind of cunning plan to investigate a move to England they have no opposition in Scotland and football associations will roll over if the money men (television executives) want it I find it strange they spent so much .

Then again it would give us  a chance of being number one again .

This is the essence of the old firm.

You just wait for the other team to go away so that you can be better than Aberdeen.

Have they though?  Do outgoing funds far outweigh incoming funds?

Transfermarket suggest that bought players total £34m - Engels from Augsburg £11m and Idah £10m from Norwich the largest outlays.

They have recouped £38m, mainly due to selling O'Riley to Brighton at £29m

So to point, they have spent £4m less than they received, so not really splashing the cash.

Then you factor in their guaranteed CL money and it looks like a rather frugal window, for those b@stards.

Celtic considering stadium expansion ? 😂

It’s nicknamed the breezeblock for a reason. Its life expectancy since the 1990s rebuild is surely up. A new stadium may be required

Transfer fees aren’t usually paid upfront. They’re usually paid in instalments based on appearances. Brighton won’t have paid anywhere near £30m atm.
Very often players are moved on before the full fee quoted at the outset is due to be paid.

Agree, but point still stands, they haven't spent wildly as they know that it is all covered by incommings.
