Park needs to sell up and go

Recommended Posts

..and take his useless sons with him.

All Ramgers fans can see that when Dave King left Douglas Parks has made an arse out of Rangers.

He put Bennett in as Chairman / CEO (a patsy) when that became clear.

Leave aside the manager the real problem is him.  No wonder he said having a Club1872 member on the Board was PROBLEMATIC.

4 posts in 4 years.  Interesting.

But some interesting points in the post maybe let down by defence of Dave King.

No arguing that Parks and his son are certainly part of the problem we have in the boardroom and have resided over some very questionable decisions.

Agreed.  We need to employ new people to make better decisions.

Rangers are mostly owned by 6 or 7 people with between 10% and 15% shareholding each. It’s not just about Park. No one is in overall control

True, but he is part of the problem. We are in mess and the board have shown they can't be trusted to get the major footballing (and non-footballing) decisions right.

Until they admit this and be honest with themselves and hire football people to run the footballing side of the business, we will continue to be in a mess.

Unfortunately hiring the St Mirren CEO looks like the next wrong decision.

What's wrong with the St Mirren CEO? I don't actually know much about him.

Do what I did - research and then you can make your own informed judgement.

I did a wee bit, but I couldn't see much.

There's a lot of charity stuff which is admirable, but not applicable to us, I suppose. Might be good for PR?

Implemented fan ownership. I'm not sure that's applicable either.

Experienced, won awards, Rangers fan.

Nothing really sticks out as being wrong - although, nothing great sticks out either.

Just wondered what your thoughts were?
