Yeah agree, he'll probably play for B Team first. I've no issue purchasing project players but not at the expense of strengthening 1st team.

That's a grandiose example but it rings true, tactically Igamane will be learning things he's probably never heard of before. With all due respect to North African football.

Clement was burnt by players breaking down last season, you'd kill the kid by firing him in straight off the bat.

All well and good, but we need players who'll immediately improve our 1st team. Those players should have been the priority this window.

Going by what we have seen of the transfer window so far I don't think we cannot afford players who will immediately improve our first team.

Bassey is a great and obvious example. Bit he cost very little and was given time to mature. He was terrible on his debut but we all know what happened next.

At the moment, yes he's better than Danilo.and Igamane that for sure. There is no argument there. 

 

Going forward, no he isn't but given our financial state how are we replacing 20+ goals a season and a player who plays the majority of games?
