Spending £1.5M of the very little we had to spend on a player who's nowhere near ready is a bit mental tho.

Guardiola famously rarely played Fernandinho for his first 6 months at City to allow him to adjust to demands at the club.

 

That's a grandiose example but it rings true, tactically Igamane will be learning things he's probably never heard of before. With all due respect to North African football.

 

Not to mention the physical demands.

 

Clement was burnt by players breaking down last season, you'd kill the kid by firing him in straight off the bat.
