Key questions to consider I think are

 * Tactical Approach: Is Clement's style of play suited to the Scottish Premiership? Us Rangers fans are known for our passion for attacking football does he bring that I think he does in the signings he has made definitely

 * Player Recruitment: Have the new signings made a positive impact? Barron Definitely Yes Jefte yes propper has potential despite the OG

 * Team Spirit: Does the squad appear united and motivated under Clement's leadership?

It's still early days, and there's time for Clement to turn things around, especially after his bumper new deal which we can't afford to pay of . However, the pressure will only intensify if results don't improve so do we need to be more forgiving considering the lack of investment he has had plus  the decisions going against him like last night's fiasco.

Initial reports stated he was 'Head of Marketing' - that doesn't sound like a consultancy role to me.

Simple rule - don't employ yahoos.

The Scottish Mhedia will put any sort of spin on a Rangers story to portray Rangers in a bad light.

this guy was never Head of Marketing or anything of the sort at Rangers

I Think You Should Leave Tim Robinson GIF by NETFLIX

At last, some good news.

However, maybe we should have seen if he could play the 10 role before we sacked him 😉

McConnell was hired on a consultancy basis and was sacked after 2 days once his social media accounts became known

I guess with the Elite case we did just run out of tribunals, why not start an unfair dismissal one....

He referred to us as "huns" on a social media post.  I don't think he'll be taking the club to court.

You do realise that with "people like Miovski" (who finished level with Dessers on league goals after playing more games than him) the sheep finished outside the top six last year. Nah, not the road I want to see us go down.

We need strikers who can perform at Premiership level. They snapped Miovski up from Budapest for 600k and there are sure similar people who can do a similar job. Strikers with some experience. It was not because of Miovski that Aberdeen finished where they did, and who knows what his goal tally might have been playing for us. That said, he'd be wasted as a single striker like the dozen before him. The line of thought is that there are good strikers out there, for much less than what we are willing to splash out.

Right now, as we did with Morelos, we play one chap against anyone and have virtually no back-up, yet supposedly look at 6-7m guys from England (Sima, Whitakker who are not even strikers) or some project chaps. And while doing so, sell a guy who scored for fun away on loan (instead for us ... because we played him out of position) for Euro 2m after buying him for Euro 4m a year ago. It beggars belief that neither our DoF etc. nor the management team - up until now - could sort the striker situation. You would have hoped that these chaps know the continent talent and seasoned warriors better than those chaps we had in their position before.

With the way the squad is at the moment we need to give Clement time to shape and mold the team and develop players but I don't see him getting it. If we lose to them the clamour amongst our support will quickly reach fever pitch and the mood will turn much darker than it already is, the key to winning the league and turning the other club into a cauldron of depression is by winning old firm games win these games and just like our fan base they will turn on players managers and the board everything will be overly scrutinised. Last season's first old firm was the turning point in my opinion if we just beat them their fans would of turned on Rodgers as he was just in the door and still labelled a rat their season would have been over imo, I think this old firm is more important as this will either steady a rocking ship or turn us into a rudderless vessel.

Lowry (no e) isn't the answer.  Had chances, didn't take them.  Struggled to get a game for Hearts too.

We have five No.10s, none of whom are good enough.  Cantwell is probably the best of the lot and he doesn't want to be here.
