I thought he should have fouled the boy at the time and took the sting out the move. As you say he will learn.

Or that, yes!

Fernandinho was the master of those niggly fouls that just stop attacks.

He'll learn.

Where has this Haaland / Dessers comparison come from?

It's widely thought that Haaland isn't a very good all-round footballer.  He scores goals, that's it.  He's also City's sole striker.

Aye Haaland is very gawky on a football pitch outwith one or two touches inside the box.

Lethal close range finisher, can imagine he gets rinsed in a rondo though.

People are not going to agree about our No 9.

I am not sure even if they are prepared to agree to differ.

There is only one solution: for as long as he plays for Rangers, we must call him The Enigmatic Cyrille Dessers.

I think a pressing #10 transforms this side, offensively and defensively.

I still think a lot of the defensive issues are a result of poor pressing.

Was a wee bit better for the first 30.

I think Johnny Walker did a clip about it on socials, I'd include it but idk if that's poor etiquette.

Go for it.

I'm always interested in tactical clips.

Its by no means the only issue, but I think this is one of the fundamental issues. Get a #10 who understands, when, how and where to press and it transforms the whole team
