He scores goals but his overall play just isn’t good enough and it will never change.

 

Sadly it looks like Danilo(despite the fact I don’t rate him) is still miles away from 90 minutes and we need another forward who can contribute. Hopefully Ignamane is that forward.

Agreed, we need more than just a plucky, try your best, good guy. I'm with Gonzo, I'm quite happy with him as an option, but not our first choice.

 

Did you not see the 2 classy finishes against Union Berlin? Listen, if he took all the chances he missed we would be watching Erling Haaland.

A wee general point...I get that many fans are disappointed by the pre-season developments as well as the last 3 years chaotic title challenges but can we start to show some patience? This continual and almost daily bi-polar reaction to everything Rangers is baffling for someone in their 50's. I fully understand that is the way the world works these days but let's all calm down. Let the manager build HIS team and do his job.

Absolutely, the posts calling for PC to go were ridiculous.

It really isn't- it's about overall contribution and time being here - points you used to berate one player and I've used to compare to another. 

 

Tell me who else is scoring goals for us if Dessers isn't? 20+ goals return in his 1st season (whilst arriving injured) is a very decent return. It's better than Sakala, Roofe, Morelos, Colac and a few others beside.

The issue we have is currently the only player in our squad who looks capable of scoring goals on a regular basis is Dessers.

 

Rather than replace that, we need to supplement it - other players, be it strikers, wide players , midfielders or defenders need to step up.
