alanmidd 0
A deal has been agreed with Ipswich for goalkeeper Neil Alexander. It doesn't mention the fee. Its around 500k. An expensive back up, but I imagine he's on a lot less wages than Carroll
Gazza_8 233
500k? A bit much.
Frankie 8,677
Good signing I think - will push McGregor.

Gazza_8 233
Ipswich No.1 and yeah, he's the keeper who was in the last few Scotland squads. Not a bad signing then if you ask me.
johnnyk 158
decent back up IMO.........
andrew_2010 0
well that all sounds rather reasonable so no doubt smith will have seen him scouting for scotland! As long as he's better than smith i'm happy - and if he's good enough to push AM then all the better
Gribz 956
He's named in Burleys first Scotland meet up squad next month. Never seen him play myself but doesnt exactly excite me. Might be decent back up as Ipswich arent doing too badly in the Championship. Id rather have seen us try get Niemi as part of the Cousin deal (depending how old Niemi is now.)
eightball 0
I've seen an awful lot of Lafferty at the NI games. He's very raw, but he is talented, he'll learn a lot by being at a club the size of Rangers. I think he's only 19 or 20, so we'd be buying a lot of potential. £3.5m is an awfully big gamble, especially when you think that we are set to get £3m for Cousin.
