Who is the physio bloke we always see on the pitch - with the grey hair and combover?  Whenever I see him, I expect the worst.  Is he good at his job?  Should Cortes have came back out for the second half?

Are we just cursed with injuries?

He did.

You've just picked out a couple of words to have a dig.

I've not - that's exactly what he said.

What's stranger is that I've seen 0 links to strikers that fit the role of what we're currently doing with Dessers.

Caveat of Shankland aside.

Bizarre really.

No it is not.

Your quote: "We missed Lundstram today."

What was actually said:

Interviewer: 'What do you put that [poor first half] down to? You've got a lot of players [...] that were here last season, so they know what to expect.'

Clement: 'Yes, but also some that missed preseason, others also that are new, like Connor Barron ... You miss an important part with Lundstram there to lead the team out of the midfield.'

The whole context of the question was experience.

Doctor Waller?

He came back last season and everyone made the joke about his special coffee beans. Idk if he's any good though.

I didn't want to say it at the time but it just looked like Cortés didnt want to know against their full back tbh.

Very innocuous on the replays.

Hopefully he's not out long having said that.

It should, generally, but our medical/fitness have been mismanaged for several seasons, as Clement has repeatedly said. We've all been saying it for a while.

We can't control what they do.

We're half way there by offloading all the rubbish, but we've not made progress on adding to the first-team.

I'm writing off this season, yes. That's just me. I think this is the rebuild we all wanted - but it won't be as easy as everyone seemed to think it would be.

Clement and has staff have been here long enough to be / take responsibility for players fitness (or lack off).

We've not got rid of much of the rubbish, most moved on as their contracts have expired. We've only moved Goldson who I'd say is better than Souttar, Davies and Ballogun and Lammers.

We have two possible #10s refusing to play for the.club or not welcome to play (whatever way you want to put it) and both on a hefty wage. If they aren't moved on, we have two unhappy players on our hands sitting doing nothing and getting paid handsomely.

We now have 3 players injured, Raskin out for a while, Sterling hopefully fit soon and Cortes unknown.

We spent £1.5M on a striker who is as far as I know not even training with the squad as he was signed with an injury. Meaning we have 1 fit striker. I know and understand he is one for the future but wouldn't that money have been better spent on a striker who is fit and would be able to contribute? This would have allowed us to move on Dessers or Danilo.

If Jefte isn't deemed a better option than Ridvan then he shouldn't have been signed.

This was never going to be fixed in one window, but as yet, we are weaker (or on par) as we were last season.

Given we are into the season is unforgivable

No it wasn't - he named a specific player and NEVER once mentioned experience. Read what you posted and show me where he mentions or even hints at experience?

'[To] lead the team out of midfield'.

This is stupid.
