Davies and Lawrence off for me.

Ones a bombscare and the other has gone awol, which has probably led to him losing his head a bit and charging with his elbows.

Souttar the sole defender in front of a shaky ‘keeper. The forwards will have to score six.

So far, all look steady enough, Butland with a fine save.

Early season bout with Hearts, as per usual. Some fine crosses by Ridvan, a good shot by Barron and Dessers a touch unlucky. Hearts, after a few bold minutes, simply (again) rely on hitting on the counter or grab a corner free-kick.

Devlin the epitome of this modern day Iberian Plague. Kicks Wright in the knee, then falls flat and claims a foul for effectively nothing. Same with others. Shame of the game these days.

Also if Clement is wedded to being this direct and hitting the no 9 then go and recruit a specialist for it. Dessers more often than not loses his aerials and it's coming straight back at us.

Fucking McBurnie would actually make sense in this system! Persisting with this game plan when your forwards can't hold or link play consistently is insanity.

  • Frankie changed the title to Hearts 0 - 0 Rangers

I moaned about Wright, Lawrence and Dessers starting and amongst the general malaise, they have been the worst three.

We really need a few more transfers if we want to win anything.

I think Cortes looks like he'll be really good when he gets going.  Here's hoping the knee is okay.

We'll never know - looks like he's out for a while (again).
