Scott7 6,596 Posted Saturday at 14:34 Share Posted Saturday at 14:34 3-0 Palace. Fulham methodical, well organised but lacking inspiration. Palace inspirational if only three times but that’s enough. Bassey is a hard man to get past but once he’s been passed there’s no recovery.

compo 7,772 Posted Sunday at 08:02 Author Share Posted Sunday at 08:02 I wonder if city will rest some players as they have done all through the earlier rounds if they do it could be costly

compo 7,772 Posted Monday at 08:24 Author Share Posted Monday at 08:24 I thought Bournemouth started very well the put pressure on the city players when they had the ball but once city got the equalizer they seemed to lose a little bit of belief in themselves.
Scott7 6,596 Posted Monday at 09:50 Share Posted Monday at 09:50 City were comfortable winners over all but seem to have lost their collective team purpose possibly associated with the decline of de Bruyne. Wonderful player so “decline” is relative. Roy Keane was angered by the City players’ carefree attitude in the first half. “Strolling about smiling”, he said. I think he was right.
Gribz 1,190 Posted Monday at 09:52 Share Posted Monday at 09:52 I wasnt bothered about the first 3 ties, but was hoping Bournemouth would complete a tidy final four. The Nottingham Forest v Man City tie at Wembley is madness especially as its been given the Sunday TV slot. That should be played in the North or the midlands. (Villa Park, Elland Road, Old Trafford, Anfield to name a few) and Palace v Villa could be played at either Spurs, Arsenal or West Ham grounds. Anyone but Man City to win the cup will do me.
