Gribz 996
Wolves v Portsmouth - why is this on a friday night. Keep all matches to a saturday. Cant be because location - Villa are nearby and also kicking off Friday night. Looking forward to seeing Potter's team, if he gets it right then an away win is well on the cards. Arsenal v Man Utd obviously the pic of the bunch over the weekend.

Wolves are away to Bristol City tomorrow and that’s as far as they’re going to get unfortunately. Pompey are at Wycombe tonight.

Wycombe v Portsmouth - not a bad tie itself yet overshadowed by Villa v West Ham.
compo 7,440
Would love to see the Scottish cup having more junior teams and the premier teams entering earlier Kilwinning Rangers v Rangers , games like that would help the smaller clubs survive I wonder if we ever visit junior grounds to see if they’re are any lads who could do a job for us or do we think that’s above us .
compo 7,440
The Potter magic is still working a lovely goal from the hammers
Scott7 6,308
Villa playing like Rangers. Slow, laboured build up, constantly passing the ball off the park, shaky at the back and a single striker not able to do much against a six man defence.
Scott7 6,308
Villa woke up after 63 minutes, might have scored twice before getting two and should have had at least one more then became fragile in added time and nearly gave away two. Strange.
compo 7,440
Two games today on council television Liverpool take on Accrington and the mighty City against Salford I’m running short on biscuits and shortbread might have to take a couple of the dogs to sustain me .

It may have changed, but junior clubs could pay to participate in the Scottish Cup (positive Linlithgow Rose done it a few times). But agree, some junior clubs can get quite far into the compition and can hold their own. One of my best football memories was watching Bo'ness United beat Queens Park in the Scottish Cup (2010).
