Is the tide in Manchester about to turn Red again?? A feel good factor with an energetic Manager. Thats the first time Ive looked at City and thought they have no answers and look rattled on the ropes.

I dont think Pep is a manager who builds sides, this is a first for him. Is there stuff going on behind the scenes especially with the 115?!

When you see their players laughing on the pitch (Haaland with Salah at 2-0) they cant be caring much - they did the same at Tottenham in the league cup when this bad run started.

2-0 flattered Man City.

Spurs being Spursy again, win 4-0 one week and grab a draw with Fulham the next.

Chelsea have also got to be taken seriously, what a job there coach has done - I expected them to be nearer Mid table but he has done amazing considering they were being laughed at for signing everyone. He has knitted a certain amount of the squad and are playing really well. A Shoe in for top 4 as it stands.

Saturday night I watched the gunners beat the hammers forget the score because the hammers played some good stuff but not good enough now the one thing that caught my eye was the quality of the corners taken by the gunners players believe me a Hateley or a Stein or a big DJ would have had a field day then you watch the cannonballs that are thumped into our strikers I use the word striker’s lightly why haven’t we anyone who can flight a ball gently to the target

I suppose the theory is that a rocket corner will hit somebody, friend or foe and fly into the net.

As well as having no corner takers Rangers have no one to head the ball when it drops in like those above mentioned or Jimmy Millar or Willie Thornton or arriving from the back, Gough or Jackson.

Midweek round of games. Not sure the need for Thursday games, that was always the one day football wasnt played when I was growing up - TV dictating and it just knocks the weekend fixtures into Sunday aswell - although its Tottenham on Thurs and Sun which is good for us next week.

The first 3 games listed are relegation battles. Ruud' new manager bounce is possible but West Ham cant lose. Everton must win and I think they will to distance themselves and Portman Road has draw written all over it.

Newcastle are due a performance and Man Utd could counter against Arsenal.

TUE:

Ipswich 1-1 Crystal Palace

Leicester 1-1 West Ham

WED:

Everton 1-0 Wolves

Man City 2-0 Nottingham Forest

Newcastle 1-1 Liverpool

Southampton 0-3 Chelsea

Arsenal 2-2 Man Utd

Aston Villa 2-1 Brentford

THURS:

Fulham 1-2 Brighton

Bournemouth 2-1 Tottenham

Football should be Saturday afternoon or Wednesday night. Anything else is just weird unless maybe Sunday afternoon so long as all the league fixtures take place at the same time.

Ipswich 1-2 Palace

Leicester 1-2 West Ham

Everton 2-0 Wolves

City 3-1 Forest

Newcastle 0-2 Liverpool

So’ton 0-3 Chelsea

Arsenal 2-3 United

Villa 2-2 Brentford

Fulham 2-1 BHA

Bournemouth 1-3 ‘Spurs
