compo 7,318 Posted Monday at 10:57 Author Share Posted Monday at 10:57 It’s a funny old league this season then it will gunners again seem to be falling off the pace Chelsea looked the part earlier on city have had a poor run and Englands Celtic seem to be getting all the breaks going and sit top of the pile at the moment every team has a dip theirs is still to come and if city play like we know they can the they can still be champions come May.
CammyF 8,575 Posted Monday at 20:52 Share Posted Monday at 20:52 33 year old Chris Wood scores again for Nottingham Forest putting them 2-0 up at Wolves. Wood didn't really start scoring regularly until he signed for Leeds and Burnley. Got him a move to Newcastle where he struggled but now killing it at Forest.
Gribz 954 Posted yesterday at 04:21 Share Posted yesterday at 04:21 (edited) Absolutely superb Forest. They keep marching on. 40 point mark in January, level on points with Arsenal. This is a team that was 17th last season. The manager is good, he did well with Wolves, Spurs never gave him a chance and he is 16 points ahead of them plus 17 points ahead of Man Utd. Next up for Forest is Liverpool at home next midweek - win that and they are in a serious place. On the title race, this is intriguing: Arsenal next 2 games are Tottenham and Aston Villa both at home. Liverpool next 2 games are Forest and Brentford both away. Forest have got Liverpool and Southampton both at home. Edited yesterday at 04:21 by Gribz
CammyF 8,575 Posted yesterday at 07:46 Share Posted yesterday at 07:46 I wonder if anyone will be brave enough to ask what influence Ross Wilson has had in the rejuvenation of Nottingham Forest. I'm certainly not opening that can of worms........
Gribz 954 Posted yesterday at 08:18 Share Posted yesterday at 08:18 (edited) Unofficial reports that West Ham have sacked Lopetegui publicly and Potter to be appointed but there are also rumours Steve Cooper is being lined up. Potter has met with DOF Steidten and Karen Brady is mates with Potters wife. Getting rid of Lopetegui is the right decision but Sullivan has done the dirty unprofessional thing by admitted the talks with Potter without being man enough to inform the current manager. Everton are also pushing for Potter but additional rumours are that Potter is waiting for the Tottenham job. Crystal Palace are active - they have bids in for Ben Doak and Jobe Bellingham, that would be 2 cracking signings for them.
