Frankie 8,552
http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/display.var.1998664.0.0.php Trying to find out more about this lad from a few City fans I know... A lot of money (fee and wage) for a player that failed to prove himself in England... However, I'd say he's a more attractive option that the other names linked so far - especially if we can lower his demands.
Gazza_8 233
I think I'd prefer Larsen before Samaras. He did very little in the EPL for Man City. He did do well in Holland though so he has the ability to do well. As Frankie said £2.75m is a lot of money who hasn't really done much for a season.
alanmidd 0
Bit of a risk I think. Think we could maybe get better for that money but we'll see
Frankie 8,552
Just spoke to a few City fans. They reckon he'd score goals but wouldn't play the lone striker role effectively.
johnnyk 158
I like this guy but as usual he might take a while to settle so the fans would get on his back right away if he did start slowly. It's a lot of money for us just now and to make someone the highest earner who hasn't set the world on fire is a strange one for me, but that's probably what it's gonna take to get players coming from the EPL.
Gazza_8 233
The Man City fans Frankie has spoken to hits the nail on the head - he wouldn't play the lone striker role effectively. WS likes to play 1 man up front therefore he should be chasing someone who can play that role effectively.
