[Official] Ibrox Stadium could be back in action in late September

Because he's only printing what our board have told him, that's why.

Utter disgrace the board are using Jackson and The Record rather than coming clean and telling  is what is really happening.

Currently we have no idea when the work os going to be finished, where we will be playing our home games or how much over budget the project is.

Nothing short of incompetence.

I don't believe that for a second.

You look back over the (many) years and we should have been sponsered by Omnishambles !

Other than the very occasional 'blip', we tend to consistently make poor decisions, spend unwisely and then cry blue murder when the sun goes down on yet another shit show.

Generally, our brilliantly thought out ways to catch up, are resulting in us falling further behind.

This "summary" on another site sums it up perfectly.

No stadium, no chief Exec, no head of Academy, not a single public interview from the Chairman since he became Chairman over a year ago, seeming stagnation with outgoing players leading to lack of funds for incoming players.

It’s all going really well.......

I don't know where it came from.

The article is defending the current board as much and probably more than it reasonably should. In so doing, it is reasonable to speculate that the source is directly or indirectly coming from Ibrox.

Jackson wouldn't go into bat for the current Rangers board, by making stuff up.

Probably no one knows the completion date.

Hampden as a venue depends on the SFA so don’t expect swift co-operation.

Unless we are shareholders over-cost is none of our business. The contractor may be under penalty for overrun or he may have an escape for unforeseen causes. We don’t know and shouldn’t know commercial information.

Missing the point

If we didn't have / know a completion date, why didn't we have contingency plans on place? Why did we sell season tickets not knowing when the stadium would be fit to host games? Why did we tell a meeting of fans that everything was on course hours before we came clean and said there was a delay?

As for budget, any overspend will impact other facets of the club, so fans (who are stakeholders, if not shareholders) deserved to keep informed.

The current board give the impression they couldn't run a p1ss up in a brewery.

The only thing I’ll say and if it’s true who decided to bring steel from China and I don’t know if that’s true but if so why didn’t they check out steel stockholders in the Uk

They probably did and then realised it was cheaper getting it from China.
