He might be coming back to "Take us to the next level" - M. Beale.

To be fair, when he signed him, he was very highly thought off and a few teams were interested in him.

It didn't work out, it happens. He wasn't the 1st and he won't be the last.

Google he say:

José Cifuentes would have cut his contract with Cruzeiro. The footballer will have to return to Rangers in Scotland, the club that owns his pass. There is talk of a new loan, this time to Turkish football.

I am told -reliably, or unreliably, your call- that

Cifuentes is set to move to Aris Salonika in Greece on loan until the end of the year with an obligation to buy, which has been reported as being set at £4 million. However, although Cifuentes agreed terms with the club last month, his move has been strangled in red tape, with Cruzeiro having to first cancel the loan deal with Rangers, which encountered complications because of Brazilian work permit regulations.

The deal, if such it proves to be, has not been straightforward. Hard to believe, that.
