By all accounts, (his mainly, and those in the Netherlands) it's mostly due to him being played in his natural position.

I dont buy it, by him playing slightly further forward means he would have taken some guilt edged changes he passed up while he was here, like the one V them at Ibrox?

I think there is more to it than that, the mentality to play for Rangers isn't there nor is the physical robustness.

He looked lost in the first game v Killie, he got a couple of dunts from the opponents then disappeared from the game.

Just watching the latest Rangers review and some interesting insight, looks like Lammers has out-performed his xg so the past 6 months may just be an anomaly. Might turn out lucky for us if we can get a good sale. Hopefully Feyenoord are interested and we can get our 6 million back in exchange for a sitter missing diddy. Revenge served cold etc.

It may well be that he doesn't have the mental fortitude to play for Rangers.

The facts are that he didn't have many good goalscoring chances with us - even that open goal (I can't remember who it was against?) was a difficult chance because the ball was too far in front of him before he could get to it. His chances were mostly long range.

His xG was only 4 (he scored 2) in the league.

Todd Cantwell, in a similar position has an xG of 5 from double the games.

Dessers, played as the #9, has a full-season xG of 19 (he scored 16).

Now we've seen him do well for Utrecht as a #9: 10 goals from an xG of 9.

I'm not saying he's the messiah, like Josh Windass, merely that he'd have a better return if he was played as a striker, rather than a #10 or on the wing.

Hear me out: Kieran Tierney?

Perfect for the vacated treatment table role.

I said it the other day - if we want a crocked scottish full back enquire about Calvin Ramsay.

I think Liverpool would deal on breaking even after a seasons loan tbh.
