Rangers in talks for Feyenoord's Kasanwirjo

Rangers are in talks to sign Feyenoord defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo on a season-long loan on transfer deadline day.

 

The 22-year-old – who was on loan at Rapid Wien last season – can play at full back or centre back.

 

Philippe Clement – who last signed a new player on August 1 - is hopeful of making more additions today.

 

In terms of outgoings, Scott Wright has followed Ben Davies to Birmingham City for around £300,000, while Todd Cantwell is in talks to join Blackburn Rovers for around £500,000 after submitting a transfer request.

No I think he looks good and will improve us and make us more athletic. All I’m saying is I hope he can nail down a position, which can be sometimes be the challenge for utility players. The challenge for him will be to better than Souttar or Propper at centre back. He might get a chance to go straight in if Propper is still injured.
