Well, Transfermarkt says we paid Norwich Euro 1,71m for his services ...

... it was said to be undisclosed, and I harbour my doubts that we paid nothing for a chap with half a year of his contract to run. Here's what a Norwich paper wrote ...

Glasgow Rangers have confirmed the signing of Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell for an undisclosed fee.

Cantwell signs a long-term deal with the Scottish giants having departed Carrow Road with just six months left on his contract.

...

The Norwich academy product spent the second half of last season on loan with Bournemouth as they were promoted to the Premier League, but he played a small part on the south coast and the Cherries chose not to exercise an £11million option to make the deal permanent.

A few clubs looking to make bids for the players of Mordor.

They'll make some serious money, but they still have to replace them...

As it stands, they have effectively got the same squad as the end of last season. Their 2 loan players have become permanent fixtures for substantial fees and they've replaced an experienced goalie with another experienced goalie.

Some of the fees quoted are difficult to believe

It's bloody depressing reading how much money Chelski are throwing around, on average players that the new manager doesn't even seem to want to play. A bizarre club indeed.

We should ask for a couple on loan as the transfer window shuts.
